University of New Mexico: English/Psychology Double Major
Height: 5’8”
HW: 238 lbs
CW: 130 lbs (as of January , 2012)
GW: I have finished losing weight. My LW was 120, but I have slowly been regaining weight by building muscle. My goal is a tight body!
I was overweight by age 7, already feeling undesirable, unfit, unwanted. At the end of 8th grade, I touched 200 lbs and above. Desperation drove me to develop a serious ED at age 14, when I lost all the weight in three months. I was thin but flabby, semiconscious, and malnourished. During senior year of HS, I gained all the weight back (surprise, surprise) and then some, topping out at 238 lbs. I moved to New Mexico on my 18th birthday, pursued treatment, learned how to truly nourish my body, and began the journey once again.
I run 5-6 miles every single day now and do a Pilates based floor workout 6 days a week. My bicycle is my main mode of transportation. Any day I’m running indoors instead of outdoors I use the gym’s weights. I pick up a hula-hoop any time I’m bored, and on the weekends I love skiing, hiking, and biking. The food I make is very clean; I came to realize how much processed foods used to control my weight and cut them ALL out. I’m all about veggies, fruits, lean protein, and whole grains! My big secret is cooking everything from scratch: I control every ingredient in my food.
I weigh 130 lbs and am not trying to lose weight anymore, but I have continued to lose sizes and inches, and my goal is to tighten any remaining loose skin through exercise. I want the flat stomach I’ve more than earned!
Ask me anything about anything. This site helps me so much, and I’m here to do the same for others.
